The Neighbourhood Initiative is a non-profit association that offers a daily programme within its own premises. The focus is on offering a platform for social and artistic exchange and learning together. The work within the association is voluntary and open to all neighbours. In contrast to other initiatives, the association is above all a common place of learning and encounter that rejects hierarchies and rather invites active and equal co-creation. The programme includes intercultural evenings, German regulars' tables, cooking together and artistic work. Neue Nachbarschaft // Moabit brings together new and old neighbours from all over the world. There are now over 400 active members and supporters.
