Lecture
At least since the revolutions of 1848, there has been a close relationship between universities and social protest. The lecture illuminates this relationship and the phenomenon of the »university on the street« from a radical democratic perspective. In doing so, it explores two questions: What is the democratic-political function of social protest? And: Why do protests always start from universities?
